When buying tickets take your choice of sol (cheaper), sombra (expensive) and sol y sombra (middle range) seats. The Plaza also works as a museum, which includes statues of famous bullfighters, posters and other memorabilia as well as a gift shop.

One of the most famous venues in whole Spain to take in a bullfight The Plaza de Toros Real Maestranza in Sevilla was constructed over several decades during the 18th century. The season typically begins with the Feria de Abril, during which there is a “corrida” every day, and runs through September.

The Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza is one of the oldest bullrings in Spain (construction started in 1758). Along with Ronda, Seville is said to be where bullfighting in the modern sense first started (before then, bullfighting had been on horseback).
Where is the Bullring in Seville?The Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza is on Paseo de Colon, in front of the river. It is big and yellow - you can't miss it. Unusually for a bullring, it is oval-shaped rather than circular.
When are the Bullfights in Seville?
