It´s construction first began under Abd Al Ramán III in the early 10th century, it is one of the best examples of mudéjar architecture in whole Europe, later some additions were included by Emperor Pedro the Cruel with the aid of Moorish craftsmen.
Regarded as the most important civil building in Seville, Real Alcazar is a memorial complex. It has been inhabited continuously for more than ten centuries and it is the long history, in which overlapping changes, fashions and tastes, that gives it an extraordinary value.
